Write down your goals in plain language and bring a list or photos of the products you currently use. Include previous procedures and any reactions you remember.
Ask about provider qualifications, realistic outcomes, alternatives, downtime, preparation, aftercare, total cost, and what would make someone a poor candidate.
A thoughtful consultation may end with a different recommendation—or no treatment at all. You should have space to consider the information without pressure.
